To earn the bonus, make sure you request Dividend Miles as your earning partner when making reservations.

Bottom line: For hotels that normally offer 500 miles per stay, you’ll earn 750 miles per stay through July 31. And instead of the 50 miles per day for car rentals, you can earn 75 bonus miles per day. One way to really leverage this promotion is through the points to miles transfers. Gary Leff from View from the Wing points out that you can transfer 65,000 Starwood points and receive 120,000 Dividend Miles (enough for an award flight from the U.S. to Hong Kong in first class). Not a bad deal.
