SAS EuroBonus members have a new way to reach elite. Now, you can become a Gold or Silver member by taking a set number of flights with SAS, Blue1 or Wideroe in any booking class (except on domestic flights in Norway). Members can earn Silver status after 20 one-way flights and Gold status after 40 one-way flights (the exception is Norway, where members can earn Gold status after 35 one-way flights). In the past, members could only earn elite by a set number of points earned (20,000 points worldwide for Silver and between 45,000 and 70,000 points for Gold, depending on your country of residence).
