A note to LANPASS members–be sure to always include your frequent flyer number when making reservations. LAN is now charging 1,000km to members who make missing kilometers requests over the phone or via a LAN office. This policy won’t affect passengers on LAN flights who can make requests online for missing kilometers. However, for flights on AeroMexico, Iberia or American Airlines, requests must be made through the call center or LAN office. The fee is waived for Comodoro and Premium Silver elite members. We understand why LAN wants to encourage members to use the online request form, but we don’t see why frequent flyers who are unable to make requests online are now penalized when the airline fails to post kilometers to their account.
