We like finding these little nuggets. In an article in The Detroit News entitled, “Auto execs accept sacrifices” we found this interesting sentence: “President and Chief Operating Officer Frederick Henderson flew to Washington [to seek federal emergency funding] on Northwest Airlines, where he holds Platinum Elite status as a frequent traveler.” Seems being Platinum Elite is roughing it when you’re used to private jets (that have now been grounded because of the financial crisis).
