American Airlines has redesigned the Admirals Club section of its Web site. Located at http://www.aa.com/admiralsclub the revamped site has an updated look with new visuals, including images of Admirals Club lounges, links to key areas such as memberships, amenities and benefits, locations and conference rooms, and an easier way for customers to purchase or renew a membership or buy a one-day pass with one click. Nancy Knipp, Admirals Club president, says “This newly redesigned section will benefit our current members by allowing them to make transactions with American Airlines and to obtain information more easily than before.” The cost of membership remains the same — one-year memberships start at $300 or 45,000 miles. One-day passes are $50 and up to two additional one-day passes can be purchased for $25 each.
