When US Airways informed Dividend Miles members they were changing their mileage accrual policy and eliminating the 500-mile minimum on flights, many members weren’t concerned because they could credit their flights to United and receive the 500-mile minimum. Not anymore. United Airlines has announced it will begin awarding miles based on the actual distance flown, effective July 1, 2008.
