Stranded passengers can show a cancelled boarding pass or ticket to the front desk at a participating Kimpton Hotel and receive a complimentary consolation prize, Kimpton style. Guests will receive an amenity to soothe tension such as bath salts or eye mask, a bottle of wine or in-room movie, a pair of cozy chenille lounge socks and a complimentary cocktail or appetizer at an adjacent restaurant. The special treatment will be available at 31 Kimpton Hotels, including properties in Dallas, Washington, D.C., Chicago, San Francisco and Denver. It’s enough to make you hope for a cancelled flight (well, maybe).
