While American carriers are working on adding in-flight wireless systems on flights, Asian carriers are considering outfitting the A380 with a casino. The Financial Times reports that “Airbus has been approached by potential Asian buyers who are looking to turn its A380 ‘superjumbo’ aircraft into a flying casino.” Francois Chazelle, head of the Airbus private aviation division, says that a fully-fitted casino A380 could be ready for delivery as early as 2012. If flying casinos become a reality, will frequent flyers be able to redeem miles for gambling chips?
