Bonus Miles for Dining

Bonus Miles for Dining

Many programs are offering bonus miles or points for dining at restaurants to whet your mileage appetite this spring. United Mileage Plus is offering 500 bonus miles for every $100 spent at participating restaurants through March 15 — a maximum 10,000 bonus miles can be earned with this promotion.

American AAdvantage is giving away 250 bonus miles for every qualifying dine of $25 or more through March 31.

Delta SkyMiles members will receive 2,000 bonus miles for spending $250 in qualified dines by March 31. SkyMiles members can only earn the bonus once during the promotional period.

US Airways Dividend Miles members will receive a one-time bonus of 1,000 miles for spending $250 by March 31. For all bonus offers, advance registration is required, qualifying charges include tax and tip, bonus miles are in addition to the miles normally earned from dining and only U.S. based members are eligible.

Northwest, Alaska and Inter-Continental will give VIP Dining Status to members after they spend $250 (including tax and tip) by March 31. VIP Dining status will be valid until the end of the year and VIP members earn five miles per dollar spent (eight points for Priority Club members) instead of the three miles given to online-registered members.

VIP members of the dining programs of six airlines will earn an extra five miles per dollar spent at participating restaurants when they complete a restaurant survey within 60 days of dining. Participating in the restaurant survey bonus miles are Alaska, American, Delta, Northwest, United and US Airways.
