Hyatt is making it easier for Gold Passport members to reach elite status this Spring. From Jan. 1 through March 31, 2008, all of your stays at any participating Hyatt Hotels & Resorts, Hyatt Place and Hyatt Summerfield Suites Hotel worldwide will count double toward tier qualification for Platinum or Diamond status. Registration for the promotion is required at http://www.insideflyer.com/link/?748
Stays at AmeriSuites and Hawthorn Suites hotels do not apply and only stays count double toward tier qualification, not nights. Platinum status normally requires five eligible stays or 15 eligible nights in a calendar year and Diamond status requires 25 eligible stays or 50 eligible nights in a calendar year. If you reach elite status under the promotion, you will receive a new elite membership card, valid through February 2010, within three to four weeks of qualifying.
Platinum membership offers a 15 percent point bonus, better award availability, a “Platinum Extras Award” after every third stay, providing you with a selection of benefits from which to choose and your requested bed type will be guaranteed. Diamond membership offers a 30 percent point bonus, complimentary room upgrades, a welcome amenity and guaranteed 72-hour room availability.
