United Mileage Plus has sent several targeted promotions to members via email so pay attention to your inbox because the offers are only valid for recipients. We received notice of a promotion where members can earn up to 7,500 bonus miles for using select partner services. Members will earn 1,500 bonus miles for completing transactions with three different partners. You can make a purchase at United’s online mall, eat at a participating restaurant in United’s dining program and complete a qualifying hotel stay to earn an easy 1,500 bonus miles (in addition to the miles you would normally earn from these activities). There are a total of 16 participating partners and you would have to use all but one of the partners to earn the total 7,500 miles. Six of the partners are hotels, including Radisson, Hilton and InterContinental. Other partners include Hertz, FTD and Hartwick & Grove. Make sure you read through the terms and conditions for complete offer details. For example, earning miles through GroceryMiles will only qualify if you are a new GroceryMiles member and the transfer of hotel points to Mileage Plus miles will not count as a qualifying transaction for the hotel partners. You have until Jan. 15, 2008 to complete transactions.
