Expedia.com Launches Business Travel Resource

Expedia.com has launched a new Business Travel resource for business travelers who book their own business travel as opposed to through a corporate travel department. “We understand the unique needs of unmanaged business travelers and have developed a travel booking resource that speaks directly to their needs and helps them make confident travel decisions,” said Paul Brown, President, Expedia North America. The Business Travel resource features the MileageManager tool that allows business travelers to manage and track multiple travel loyalty programs in one place. Expedia customers can enroll in MileageManager for free for 30 days, and a one-year subscription is only $4.95, a savings of $10 exclusive to Expedia customers. Additional tools for business travelers is ExpediaToGo, which allows travelers to send their flight itinerary to their mobile devices; special travel deals will be featured and refreshed continually and tips and tools for travel arrangers will be featured. Expedia’s professional travel arrangers have compiled tips and advice on ways to more efficiently and effectively arrange travel. Complementing the tools for business travelers is Expedia’s ThankYou rewards program that allows you to earn rewards points across multiple travel providers. Furthermore, Expedia has been working with airlines to allow travelers to also earn frequent flyer points when booking through Expedia.com when they enter their membership number at the time of booking or check-in. Expedia also offers expediacorporate.com for small, medium and large enterprises with a suite of booking and policy tools, comprehensive reporting and customer service.
