American Express cardmembers who purchase travel on AirTran Airways with any American Express card will receive a bonus half A+ Rewards credit for each Y, B or M class one-way coach ticket purchased and one bonus credit for business fares. A+ Rewards members normally receive one credit for travel in coach and 1.5 credits in business so purchasing a ticket with your American Express card will give you 50 percent bonus credits in coach and 67 percent in business class.
