Swissotel Hotels & Resorts has relaunched its loyalty program, Club Swiss Gold. Benefits of membership include complimentary breakfast, free upgrades, access to the executive club lounge among other perks. There are two membership categories: Classic and Elite. Elite benefits include complimentary Internet access, breakfast daily and access to the Swiss Executive Club Lounge. Elite membership is now valid for 24 months instead of the previous 12. The new Web site at http://www.csg.swissotel.com offers membership information and all members with a membership ID and password can make room reservations, request a new card and update their guest profile online. There are plans to include the ability to view past transactions. “The main objective of fine-tuning Club Swiss Gold is to make the program more easily accessible and user-friendly for our guests,” said Petra Gotting, Vice President of Marketing and Sales at Swissotel Hotel & Resorts. Look for new Swissotel Hotels & Resorts in China, Estonia and Turkey to open this year and next.
