This just in from the “You know you’ve been flying too much when…” department: Atlanta-based travel newsletter The Ticket reports that Delta SkyMiles members who reach Million Miler status may soon want to look into an extra baggage allowance.

“In addition to offering lifetime Platinum, Gold and Silver Medallion status at the 4-million, 2-million and 1-million mile thresholds, respectively,” reports The Ticket, “all Million Milers now at any level will receive a choice of Hartmann rollaboards, duffels, suitcases, garment bags, briefcases or similar items, which are generally worth between $500 to $1,000 retail.”
