Aeroplan has expanded the choices of its members by making new rewards available through a series of new and flexible reward cards. The cards enable members to use Aeroplan miles toward rewards in five categories: Dining, Spa, Sports, Entertainment and Getaways.

The prepaid, stored value cards may be ordered by any Aeroplan member through http://www.aeroplan.com and are accepted where the American Express Card is welcome, and may be used for purchases made online, by mail and by phone. Members simply present the card at time of payment, as they would a credit card, to make purchases.

Using their Aeroplan miles, members can redeem for cards in two denominations: 14,000 miles for a card worth $100 and 33,500 miles for a card worth $250. The amount may be used all at once or spread over several purchases.
