Now that United Mileage Plus is connected with Microsoft, Mileage Plus members can finally earn miles for Internet connection. Through Dec. 31 members who sign up with MSN Internet access will earn 500 miles per month for the first two years. There is no time commitment and members earn an another 1,000 bonus miles for signing up.

In addition to the miles, members will also receive a customized version of the MSN Explorer Internet browser featuring a “My United” button. The MSN Explorer browser gives members one-click access to email, weather updates and your finances. The MSN service costs $21.95 per month.
