Delta and Amtrak, move over. American Airlines’ regional affiliate, American Eagle, is now offering 10 daily roundtrips between Boston and New York (LaGuardia) and 10 daily roundtrips between Washington (Reagan) and LaGuardia.

To sweeten the deal, AAdvantage members who register at www.aa.com/offers are being offered double miles through Dec. 31.

It certainly never hurts to have options, but if miles are your primary motivation, remember that Delta and US Airways continue to offer triple miles on shuttles between Boston, LaGuardia and Reagan until Dec. 31.
