At press time, federal regulators were expected to make a decision on the three-airline code-share agreement between Delta, Continental and Northwest.

In late October, federal regulators extended their review of the proposed alliance. Also at press time, the Justice Department was reviewing the agreement between the Nos. 3, 4 and 5 carriers for potential antitrust issues.

Under the agreement, carriers would be able to sell tickets on each other’s flights and offer reciprocal perks, such as frequent flyer miles.
