TACA Airlines Distancia has introduced a new credit card for the program’s members living in the United States. US Bank and TACA Airlines have partnered to offer a Distancia Visa Signature card and Distancia Visa card. Cardholders will earn two miles for every TACA Airlines ticket purchase and one mile for every dollar spent everywhere else, plus 20,000 bonus miles upon your first purchase or when paying your annual fee. With your annual renewal, you’ll get 6,000 bonus miles. Cardholders will also receive up to a 50 percent excess baggage discount (25 percent for Visa cardholders and 50 percent for Visa Signature cardholders). There’s no preset spending limit with the Signature card. The annual fee for the Distancia Visa Signature card is $75 and $45 for the Distancia Visa.
For even more of an incentive, you could be one of 10 cardholders to get a year’s worth of free travel (up to a maximum value of $6,000) on TACA Airlines just by using your card. For each dollar spent in net purchases, you will automatically receive one entry into the sweepstakes through Dec. 31, 2009.
