JetBlue Free WiFi

JetBlue Free WiFi

JetBlue has introduced in-flight WiFi service on a limited number of JetBlue flights and passengers who only wish to surf the web will be able to access the basic Simply Surf option for free. A premium Fly-Fi Plus option will allow travelers to stream videos or download large files for $9 per hour. The initial pricing will be valid until June 2014 and may change after the first six months of service.

JetBlue is one of the last airlines to launch in-flight WiFi service but the first to give passengers the ability to surf for free as an introductory offer and may even continue to offer a basic free service beyond June. The airline launched the Fly-Fi service with three JetBlue A320 aircraft and plans to add service to over 140 planes throughout 2014.
