American Airlines has launched a new mobile app specifically designed for the iPad that includes flight information at a glance, including seat changes, parking alerts, boarding passes and other flight details, an interactive globe that features all the destinations American flies where you can select two cities to view specific flight schedules and a free trivia game called “Know it All”. The AAdvantage section of the app allows users to view elite status qualification graphs that show how many miles, points and segments are needed to achieve a particular elite status level. You can also see your mileage balance and available flight upgrades.
