When American Airlines demanded that mileage-tracking site http://awardWallet.com stop tracking miles of AAdvantage members, the company came up with a creative workaround where members could download a browser extension and store their account number and password on their own computer. American Airlines objected to the browser extension and Award Wallet has removed this option. Members are now unable to track their AAdvantage accounts using Award Wallet.
