Aeroplan has launched new functionality to its online calendar that allows members to see all economy and business class award options for both Air Canada and Star Alliance carriers. The improved award booking tool also offers more flight route options, more destinations and more flexible flying times with fewer connections. Aeroplan has also introduced a Last-Minute Travel tool that will highlight popular destinations with award seats at Classic mileage levels that are available 14 days prior to the flight date. You can find the new tool in the “Travel” category of the “Use Your Miles” section on Aeroplan.com. Select your departure city from the drop-down menu and select a destination from all of the cities listed with available seats. After choosing your travel dates and number of passengers, the tool will display available flights. The Last-Minute Travel tool only shows award availability on routes originating in one of eight cities in Canada: Calgary, Edmonton, Halifax, Montreal, Ottawa, Toronto, Vancouver and Winnipeg.
