Choice Privileges members will notice some changes to the program’s Web site based on member feedback, according to Choice. Now, members can access special hotel deals at http://www.choicehotels.com/hoteldeals. The page is a listing of links to the deals organized by state or country.

When we clicked, California, and then Hermosa Beach, we found the “Choice Privileges Bonus Points Package”. Through June 30, 2010, when you stay a minimum of two nights, you’ll receive one voucher for 1,000 bonus Choice Privileges points.

When we clicked Calistoga, we read about the “Calistoga Wellness Package” through March 31, 2010. This package includes one 60-minute massage at Lavender Hills Spa. Valid for arrival Sunday through Friday, three-day advance booking and one night stay only.

Because the page only has a list of place names, if you know where you plan to go it’s a good way to find what’s available for that destination, but if you just want to see the best deals out there, it could take quite a while to click through to find the hidden gems.
