Southwest Airlines customers can now book flights on future codeshare partner WestJet via a link on southwest.com. The codeshare arrangement won’t be complete until late 2009 but members can find a direct link to WestJet’s Web site and learn more about the partnership with the Canadian airline at http://insideflyerus.wpengine.com/link/?1353
Before you get too excited, this is only a link to the WestJet site. You cannot yet earn or burn Southwest credit on WestJet. This is only the beginning of the pair up which will take months to complete.
