Last day non-elite passengers on Air Canada can check two bags for free on flights outside of the U.S. and Canada. Air Canada has implemented a $25 fee for checking a second piece of luggage for travel on or after July 15, 2008.

Last day Virgin Atlantic Airways flying club members can take advantage of an award sale. Members can spend up to 50 percent fewer miles when flying in coach and up to 20 percent fewer miles when flying in Premium Economy on travel completed by July 31, 2008. If you book by July 31 for later travel, you can get 25 percent off.
