After booking a flight on Southwest’s Web site, you can now consult a weather forecast at the site to help you decide whether to bring a jacket or pair of shorts on your next trip. Southwest has partnered with NBC Weather Plus to offer customers access to the latest weather reports and forecasts. NBC Weather Plus displays video weather forecasts and weather maps for each region Southwest serves. You can view a national map and see what the weather is like across the U.S. or select to view a regional map. To view the maps, click the Weather Plus icon on the southwest.com homepage or go to Travel Tools. When we went online to check the weather using our Apple computer, about the only thing we were able to view were the annoying video commercials. We had better luck when using a PC.
