Less than a month after launching, SeatShark.com has become a relatively thriving Web site where frequent flyers share airline reviews and flight booking tips. SeatShark.com already includes frequent-flyer written reviews of Air Transat, Iberia, Lufthansa, Qantas, Singapore Airlines, and Southwest Airlines.
A surprising number of comments on SeatShark.com are positive. Many airlines find themselves praised for delivering “top notch” meals, “magnificent” service, or “excellent value for the price.” The complaints are more familiar, such as one chastising and airline for making it “difficult to get seat assignments.”
