It’s taken a while, particularly since Alaska has always been a pioneer in Internet innovations, but Mileage Plan has finally introduced a means of claiming missing credit online.

Mileage Plan members who forgot to give their Mileage Plan number for an Alaska or Horizon flight can now have that credit posted online automatically. All they have to do is go to http://www.alaskaair.com, select “Mileage Plan,” “more,” and “request missing credit.”

Once on the right screen, members must input information about their flights, including ticket number, and give their mileage number. The system will automatically verify the information and post the missing miles immediately to their account. At this point, the system is equipped to handle flight miles (on Alaska and Horizon) only.
