AT&T's GoPort Connects Travelers In-Terminal

AT&T Wireless announced that it has entered the Wi-Fi market with the introduction of GoPort, a high-speed wireless data service designed to keep mobile professionals connected to their corporate information while away from the office.

The company also said it has reached an agreement with Wayport, a leading Wi-Fi service provider, to allow roaming on that company’s Wi-Fi networks in airports and hundreds of hotels across the United States.

Customers can sign-up for AT&T Wireless GoPort service directly at Denver International Airport and, in the near future, at Philadelphia International Airport. Customers can also register for GoPort at www.attws.com/goport and access Wi-Fi service at airports in Austin, Dallas-Fort Worth, San Jose, and Seattle as well as more than 475 hotels across the United States.

Several pricing options are available, from a single connect at $9.99 (good for unlimited connections in one location for 24-hours) to a monthly unlimited for $69.99.
