I still believe there’s a market for well curated content in the sea of repetitive and misleading content, click-bait and rumors. But I never did figure out how to build traffic in a manner I felt was fair and reasonable to the blogs and that site. And so we’re done. The Hack.Travel site is now offline.

It was a good idea at the time. At least I think it was. Others have stepped in with similar efforts and maybe they’ll do better at building traffic and the meta-discussions necessary to drive value. But it won’t be me.

Good luck on your future ventures. A good entrepreneur has to know when to cut his losses and how to learn from his failures. Hope this was not too expensive a lesson and that you'll keep us posted on your future plans.
