This just landed in my inbox. Seems nice, but still not enough to get me to fly out of EWR when LGA is so much closer to get to, even if it would add an extra connection.;)

Click on image and try out your luck if this interests you and you might have been targeted but not received the email...

I got this and registered. Not sure if I will need to use this as my preferred way to SFO from BOS is on the non-stop, not a connex in EWR.... 🙂

Do you think the PQM choice counts towards MM?

I've flown on an ERJ-145 over 600 times since 2001. My license plate is ERJ H8R. No.....really.....it is!!!

It seems as with most targeted programs. No sale. 🙁

[UA FAQ]: Will Premier qualifying miles count toward Million Miler qualification?
No, mileage accrual for Million Miler qualification is based on the flight distance of United- and United Express-operated flights.

Not eligible for this promotion 🙁

But to be honest, there was little to no chance of me using it anyway. But on occasion, I do like to be included in these things if for no other reason than to be assured that I am not being taken for granted.

Not targeted, and I'm pretty much never targeted for offers. Kinda weird that they'll give bonuses to folks, but not give them to HVCs. Oh well.

From their perspective, they already have your business and have awarded you GS as a result; what is there to incent?

I think this is a marketing tactic to try to lure travelers who are choosing AA, VX, and B6 out of JFK to come on down to EWR.

The more incentives they provide, the stronger the customer loyalty is. It's harder to break away when they keep giving you things.

Bonus miles. Why? Because of this:

I've spent 941,700 miles this year, almost all of them on friends and family airline tickets. While my balance isn't normally quite this low, I have roughly another 30,000 in spend lined up for this calendar year, which is another 330,000 RDMs to earn. I'll earn somewhere between 1 million and 1.1 million miles this year.

Little bonuses are good - 10,000 miles here, 1 or 2 RDMs there, etc. Keep feeding me product, and I'll keep buying.

Know what I mean?

[ETA: What's weird is I have over $73,000 PQDs right now in my account. Not sure why I dont have 73,000 x 11 in the Airline Activity column.]

Heh
With the amount you spend, they should put your name on the side of a plane. ;):p
