If you only need occasional access or have low bandwidth needs TunnelBear is a great free/pay option. Here is a great resource to compare VPNs thatoneprivacysite dot net / vpn-comparison-chart/
I've now been using ExpressVPN for a couple of days and I have to say I'm impressed, it's working great (it evens seem to be able to bypass Netflix restrictions). The only drawback for me is its price...
I use "Uncocator".
I got your idea to choose the VPN, but in my opinion, you should define the aim for using it. If you want stream Netflix and be able to use Belgium server, then I suggest you NordVPN (you’ve already asked about it; it's one of the best VPNs according to bestvpnrating.com ). I’ve been using it for a long time, and haven’t faced any problems. Actually, I used it for watching Netflix when I was abroad, and it really worked. Besides, the speed is always great. Probably the price is rather high, but it is worth it.
I'm another happy Witopia customer.
One other option, for the more highly technical, is to get your own VPS with a reputable cloud provider and route your traffic through OpenVPN there. Can be done for free for a year with an AWS Micro instance, and for a briefer time on the free trial period on Azure.

BlackVPN is what I mainly use. No complaints or issues. Really cheap and you can pay with bitcoin.
Express VPN is the one I use and so far, I have nothing to complain.
I would highly recommend you to use Pure and Ivacy VPN if you are a frequent traveler.
The best VPN for travelers will keep data, connections, and devices safe but there are other reasons vacationers will want to use one. It will mask your IP, unlock Geo-Restricted TV and Streaming Content, and bypass the local ISP especially when you are at the airports or using public wifis.
