    Love the YYC AMEX lounge- that and my Nexus card make YYC transborder bearable!

    @southender if you don't mind sharing? With nexus how long before a US bound flight do you usually arrive at the airport in YYC?

    @MissBurrill Thanks so much for the kind words! I look forward to sharing more stories from my travels soon.

    With Nexus, you are fine with 90 minutes; at times YYC will restrict entry to the US check point until 2 hrs before the scheduled flight as the space leading to the secure area is pretty small. We have done it tighter than 90 minutes, but with the Amex lounge option, I would rather be on the right side of the US area with time to spare

    Nice report. Thanks for posting. Seemed like a nice flight.

    Could you explain the back/front of hands thing re security to a non- North American? I totally don't get it.

    @southender Thanks for the reply

    @hotelsallover In the USA when you get a "random" additional screening, while the US TSA agent is rubbing you down he uses the back of his hands (other side then palm) and keeps saying that he is using the back of his hands.

    Meanwhile in Canada and most other airports they can use the palm (front) of their hands.
