Yet another award ticket question...

    ...that I'm sure has been answered a million time, and that I should know teh answer to. If I fly (approximate dates):
    SFO-EWR 7/15
    EWR-OSL 7/20
    OSL-SFO 8/7

    Is this a legal stopover? I think yes, but I can't price it on .boom.

    Yes it should be a legal stopover, if the website does not allow you to do it then call the Elite desk or the Mileage Plus desk and they will book the reward according to your specifications.

    Gracias. I've done this in the past, but I'm just all discombobulated these days with UA.

    Update- I changed the itinerary slightly to add an open jaw in Europe, and the agent I spoke with first told me that I couldn't do an open jaw and a stopover. I corrected him, and he was able then to help me book it. Throughout the call, he was courteous and helpful. It's still amazing to me that phone agents don't know the rules though, and that's why I posted my question in the first place.
