And this differs from BA1 how?
It's crowd funded. Viva la difference. Plus while BA needs a refuel stop in Shannon, Odyssey would fly non-stop.

I had actually thought the shannon stop would be beneficial since you can clear us customs there.
I'm not sure regarding the customs clearance when it's only a refuel stop though.
Would the UK fuel surcharges still apply? If yes, then nevermind.

Does that describe the launching of the airline or travel on the airline? (diversions to Iceland, Newfoundland, ...)
Last I heard, BA 1, the morning departure from LCY gets the U.S. preclearance in SNN while the aircraft is refueled, but the later BA 3 does not get the preclearance as it leaves LCY too late and the U.S. C&I is closed at SNN by the time they arrive to refuel.
And even with the new airline using the C-Series, will it have the legs for a nonstop to JFK, and even if it does, how do they plan to have it take off with a full fuel load on board from LCY's shorter runways in a city with skyscrapers very nearby? JATO available for the C-Series?
