Unfortunately, #3 on that list will be a thing of the past come May when TG converts it to a BKK-ICN-LAX vv service.

I'm doing the ATL - JNB flight tomorrow with my family. I read somewhere that it is Delta's longest flight and I guess this article kind of confirms it. However, the return flight is longer since you are traveling into the headwind.

The biggest problem I have is I just watched eight movies on my round trip to China this past week so don't have that many left on Delta's current AVOD playlist that I want to watch.

    Funny how SQ's LAX-SIN (18h30m, 9,500mi) is a "longer" flight than SQ's EWR-SIN (18h, 10,371mi). Wonder how flight routing/wind makes a difference in this measure.

I was curious to see how much longer it was JNB-ATL, and noticed that the list seems to have taken the average of each direction. Delta currently lists this flight as 15:20 ATL-JNB and 16:55 JNB-ATL. So yes, that JNB-ATL flight is definitely Delta's longest flight.

Those two are wrong all around. EWR-SIN averages 18:47.5 each way on a round trip vs. 16:57.5 for LAX-SIN. I'm not sure where they got those numbers.

For the longest time ever, I thought EWR-SIN is the longest flight exists. I knew the numbers were a little off somehow.

I had to look up XXX to see where that was--figuring it was in the US but not sure where... LHR-XXX isn't a commercial flight, is it?

And yes, that's a long haul!

I believe rwoman meant the XXX to be a space holder for whatever airport she connects in. DFW/ATL/MIA, etc..

LAX-SYD will be on Virgin Australia in J... 100k SkyPesos for J seats versus 240k on DL. I've got about 320k of them and will burn some for my BFF and I to fly. I did not want to fly to SYD in Y!! :)

LHR-XXX-LAX is yet to be determined carrier, but will be a revenue ticket.

    :)

Correct ... Per my post above, I'm not sure if I'll fly AA or DL to get to LA ... Kind of depends on fare and if I go for EXP. :)

Nobody wants to fly LAX-SYD on Y. Not even the people in Y.

LAX-TLV on El Al is incredibly long, but then again anything on El Al seems like the longest flight in the world.;)

I think that I would go completely out of my mind on any flight longer than 13 hours, and if it were in Y, less time than that.

    Fascinating. SFO-DXB non-stop is 20 minutes shorter than the LAX-DXB non-stop.

As of now my longest flight is EWR-BOM at 15:00 and 7,804 miles thankfully in United BusinessFirst. I suspect I'll get the opportunity to fly the longest flight in the United system (EWR-HKG) at some point in the near future.
