World’s Safest Airline for 2015 Announced

    20, the world’s most reliable safety and product rating website, has announced its top ten safest airlines and top ten safest low cost airlines for 2015. Coming in at #1 once again is no other than Qantas. Qantas, Australia’s flag carrier, (AKA the Flying Roo) is currently fatality free, and I sure hope they keep it that way! Top 10 Global Network Airlines (Alphabetical Order): Air New Zealand Cathay Pacific Airways British Airways Emirates Etihad Airways EVA Air Finnair Lufthansa Qantas Singapore Airlines As you can see, no U.S.-based carrier made the top 10 Global Network list, but two did make the Top 10 budget airlines list, see below. The website claims that its rating system takes into account a range of factors related to audits from aviation’s governing bodies such as the FAA and ICAO as well as government audits and the airline’s fatality record.
