    When did this happen?

Talk about in-flight entertainment. Passengers on a Delta flight Saturday got a "show" when a woman stripped naked and began to make a scene during their flight.

Flight 6562, en route from Chicago to New York, was descending to Kennedy Airport when the "emotionally disturbed" woman removed her clothes, reports USA TODAY.

A Newsday manager who was also on the flight said flight attendants tried to cover the woman with a blanket, but she yelled "No! No! No!"

Since the death of OBL, there seens to have been an increase of news reported incidents aboard aircraft in the USA.

See, I'm not sure if I would kick her, but a Falcon Punch might be in order.

Incidentally, this thread is worthless without pictures. :)

And I wouldn't have doubted that "she" got on the plane dressed like that if the originating airport had been EWR. :)

One wonders what TSA did to her before the flight.

As the TSA wants to see passengers naked in order to -- amongst other things -- make passengers feel safe, it sounds like the stripping passenger took the initiative upon herself to help passengers (or crew) who may feel neither "safe" nor "comfortable" (vis-a-vis some other passengers on the flight) because they personally don't know that "the other" passenger(s) are not hiding anything (under their clothes or otherwise) that could endanger them or the flight.

So is this or is this not a way to avoid getting booted off a flight when dealing with suspect-thinkers who whip up suspicions in their own head and then act upon their imagination run amok? Could go either way.

We need pictures or it didn't happen. I don't think this one counts. USA Today needs to step up its investigative reporting.

Incidentally, I find it ironic that people are called "mentally disturbed" when they strip on a plane, but they are considered uncooperative and potential terrorists if they refuse to strip before boarding the plane.

  11. I agree if there's no photos - it never happened.

Seriously... in this day an age the average leisure traveler probably has 2-3 cameras on them, and nobody seems to have documented the crazy naked woman on the plane? :)

Do you think she was touched inappropriately by TSA while being screened?

What's with Chicago flights this week? The guy trying to open the door on the CO flight, and the guy who rushed the cockpit on an AA flight, were also ORD arrivals or departures.

Is the Daley/Rahm transition this week driving everyone here nutso?

This obviously has something to do with the curse of the Billy goat. Why didn’t they just let the damn goat into Wrigley field? :D

With spring, out comes the crowd that disappeared during the dark, cold months. Welcome to Orchard Field Airport.

... and when the heat rises, so does nutty behavior. Thus some correlation between temperatures and violent street crime.

At the bottom of the USA Today article are the words: Posted Nov 29 2010 12:06PM. It seems to have taken until now for AOL to pick it up and then contend that, "There have been a slew of disruptions on flights recently." "News" is whatever sells, I guess..

Looks like the transit cop really didn't want to touch or grab him, so it took a while to stop the guy.

At least Chicago doesn't have a monopoly on crazies!
