http://travel.aol.co.uk/2011/08/10/woman-jailed-for-testing-airport-security-with-fake-bomb/ A woman has been arrested after allegedly attempting to 'test' airport security with a fake bomb. Lewiza Daman was accused of trying to sneak the fake bomb past TSA officials at Sky Harbour Airport in Phoenix, America. According to myfoxphoenix.com, security found the simulated explosive device inside a hand luggage bag. The container was filled with a paste-like substance, with a mobile phone taped to the top. After the bomb squad were called and determined the device was fake, Daman - an African refugee - told Homeland Security Detectives that a friend had given her the fake bomb to carry on a plane and hand over to someone at Des Moines, Iowa. Investigators believe the pair were testing airport security, and both are awaiting a court hearing in a Phoenix jail. With 9/11 still fresh in people's minds almost 10 years on, security is bound to be on high alert. According to news.com.au, Phoenix Police Sgt. Steve Martos said: 'We're coming up to the 10 year anniversary of 9/11, and we are well aware of these dates and our security measures are certainly heightened.'
