    Sounds awesome. But what a horrible PR Trap that would be if the person died?

    I know they are not liable but all those inspirational commercials they could have made. Gone!

    In the end they must have some type of fitness test/doctor approval you must pass in order to be cleared for this trip no?

    They are only going to base camp, not climbing Everest! I don't see much danger here. As for the MP trek, many get nausea not much else.

    oh well than that is a generic adventure trip. Nice and mild I see.Free is free. Still have this

    They don't want them to die for even this light hike.

    I wouldn't call a trek to Everest Base Camp or the Inca Trail generic by any means...
    I'd love to visit base camp some day. Don't think I'll be climbing Everest ever!

    You should read the book Into Thin Air.

    Just sayin, there's tons of mountains in the area. Why not forge a new path.
