Randy: is a contest in the works?
I don't believe anything was mentioned last night, but something could definitely be in the works..
There was a contest for the Star Alliance Mega Do 3.....that is the reason that I asked the question.
And I like your question
fingers (and toes) crossed! looks like it will be a fun program!
I think the interest in such a contest would be high
nah, where'd you get that idea? 72 623 posts!
That could lend support and be a data point for my statement.....yes
another post-athon (and won by MSP ) !?
Randy loves contests.
We've had SMD, Come Fly to Me, etc. OWMD next
Sent from my iPhone using milepoint
If it were PWP format, I suggest one week only....the last time it was too long a time period
Milepointers love contests, too!
Indeed -- that is how many of us in the 'greater' community came to meet each other -- in RL, after all the 'sharing' that went on in the various PWPs!
I love when I win contests
Since I've bought my ticket, how about an UPGRADE contest? Win an upgrade to Tommy Class, or an upgrade to First!
Fair question and apologies for the delay ... I'm now building next generation booking software!!
Anyway, many of you know the history that I stepped in to help the early MegaDo's achieve their goals of selling all the seats. As you know, I really bought a lot of seats early on but it seems that the MegaDo's have found a comfortable and supporting place here on MilePoint and truthfully there hasn't been the actual necessity to have a contest though I did sponsor one last time as it was uncertain that the very young MilePoint could help foster a sellout of SMD3. The answer was positive that it could.
Right now, I do not have any plans to sponsor a contest, however I retain the right to do so, even if I decide to give my own seat up. What we did do as the only online forum sponsor of the MegaDo's is arrange an early 12-hour advance for our Gold Status members to book a OWMD seat if they were so interested. We don't think you'll find these opportunities anywhere else and look forward to continuing to be a leader in providing positive experiences for our members. So while I may not have any plans right now, it has been written (post #10) that I do love contests. I know we are working on something unique for December ...
Don't worry, nobody "expects" a contest or giveaway... we're just always pushing the envelope, you know?
As an early registrant, I'm surprised how quickly this has sold and fully expect it to sell out tomorrow.
Thanks Randy for the response.
And after the rapid sellout, I can almost guarantee some sort of contest being made available, just to give some people a chance to go
Perhaps for some of those seats that just said "Reserved" even when the site opened to the launch party attendees yesterday - assuming those aren't allocated to sponsors, of course.
Contest? Charity Bid/Auction would be best!
I imagine that Randy would consider the Kiva MP effort as a potential beneficiary of such a 'bid/auction' (among other MP beloved charities)!
Now you are talking.
IIRC, I saw two full rows of reserved seats in Y, two in Tommy Class, and two seats in F..
