    I figure @ahappyelite won't ever leave, since he'd make hyperbolic posts here even if nobody else was reading them. (He must shout into his closet as a hobby.)

    PS: 504 gateway errors. How nice...

    Unfortunately, I have to agree... and I'm probably not far behind you. The founders (@Pizzaman and @Randy Petersen) don't seem to want to control the user, so I have pretty much confined myself to Box-type threads. No use in trying to post anything of value as it just gets buried in gripe threads.

    As for 404/504, they are aware, but have not addressed the issue.

    I get the occasional 504 error from most of the web-services I customarily use. Suspect that the problem lies more in the general collapse of the 'useable web' than in anything here-specific.

    Therefore rather loth to pre-emptively declare 'lights out'.

    I think that is part of the problem. The error only seems to affect part of the users.

    I have no problems with the app, just the web interface.

    I see that, too.

    I do not understand why one person has been allowed to spam IF in such a manner. I think most of the regular posters have just given up and stopped participating due to those constant rants. Personally, I cannot even be bothered looking at unread topics anymore because he has completely taken over that feature.

    I've complained to the powers that be, but they say that they cannot stop the poster. Obviously, they prefer the negative content to those that might post something of value.

    They can certainly stop that poster by banning him... it has been done to others in the past. Clearly, they choose not to do so even though these non-stop type of negative, ranting posts is driving other good forum members away. It sure makes one wonder why they tolerate some people but not others. :confused:

    hope springeth eternal -- now, just to get Air Canada to hurry up and find us some planes here in Vancouver......

    What's with the continual 504 gateway errors? I'm experiencing this only on Inside Flyer, not FT or other sites. Seems like something at Inside Flyer is causing the problem.

    This has been going on for at least a month. Is anyone working on solving the problem, or has the site gone dead?

    Longer than a month for some of us (https://insideflyer.com/forums/threads/lots-of-site-timeouts-and-503-errors.139540/.) And not much coming from IF on what is being done to resolve it.

    Do the “foreign” (to us) IF sites have the same problem? If not, perhaps those who still care could migrate over to Dutchland and commandeer a corner there.
