In threads we can embed images two ways- link to an online image, or upload from our hard drive. In conversations, we can only link to online images. This makes sense, since there is no point in using MP server space to host private images viewed only in a conversation; also, since conversations are hidden, the admin might not know what images they are hosting, which can create issues for them. Wikis follow the conversation paradigm, which is a subset of the thread format. This doesn't make sense- we should be able to upload images to Wikis. Even more than in threads, Wiki images are likely to be custom prepared images that we create to illustrate points covered in those posts. Currently that requires that we having a separate hosting system, upload the images there, and then link them, rather a kludge. Can this be changed?
