    Hi all,

I've been looking to book a trip down under for some time, and was resigned at this point to burning down some UR points by transferring to KE for the round-about LAX-ICN-SYD routing. However, I'm not sure if it's a glitch or just inventory management wisdom (though if I were a betting man you know what I'd pick), but amazingly I found in a search this morning "I9" on the nonstop UA flight from LAX to MEL. I booked one seat already, and it's still showing I9... Granted, there are only 4 other seats assigned via the map, but I can't imagine UA would allow this much space open to partner programs in addition to their own members for a historically difficult route.

I'm certain this won't last, since coach is pricing out at the standard level (85K miles) whereas business is pricing at saver (70K miles)... Any families looking for a New Year's Aussie vacation??

Hope this can help someone else!

Hoping to meet Santa's sleigh somewhere over the South Pacific on that flight?

Amazingly, the flight is still wide open in C, and they've even opened up saver coach, so it just must be selling poorly.
