DFW is a nice airport.... but, I hate that is does not copy SFO and offer free wifi....
No free wifi is a crime. Right now I'm just counting down to when I get my air card, then I really don't care about the cost of wifi in the airport
Ord is the same way, cheap, cheap, cheap. The four airports I fly from YVR, SEA, SFO and ORD, at least three out of the four are wifi complimentary and that is very nice. I can say the same thing about a hotel, if it is not complimentary I don't stay there.
Extra incentive for you to get enough OW status that you can get into a lounge and get your wifi
good point !!
To add another thought, I think the hotel problem is that so many business people are on expense accounts, and of course keeping in touch is important, and most do it by computer, and this the hotels know. so as long as business people are willing to pay, or their companies are, wifi will not be complimentary, at least in those hotels where most business people hang their hat for the night.
I get the additional revenue stream thing.... guess not all airports care to be like SIN and SFO....
I think the difference between airports that offer the guest (customer) free wifi is that those that do are customer friendly and those that don't are money friendly.
yeah, but while I generally have lounge access, there are times I'm at other spots in the aiport and would still like Wi-Fi... so it's not a perfect solution
