I would find those more engaging if there was some personal flavor/commentary involved rather than just copy/pasting scores of news clippings into new threads.

I'm one of those people that reads what is written rather than who wrote it. I do that on other forums to more of an extent than on here, but it is still true.

There are so many. Generally I like hotel reviews from those members that give complete unbiased review/experience. Also anything with tech, pictures and dining.

The great part of posting anything on Milepoint is the ability to get insight and commentary from this community.
Kudos to this group for adding real value to the story by pointing out any falsehoods, or adding key information to enlighten us.
No media story is complete without Milepoint members chiming in. We are all very fortunate to have such a well rounded group to provide feedback. :)

MP is engaging for several reasons. Yes, the posters. I enjoy reading the BA apologism posted by ezeiza and The Saint. Cindy C too. DL is not as entertaining because DL apologism is more lacking here, compared with FT. I also like Mike Reed's use of "ignore user" - because what it means is it puzzles him when he reads threads with gaps or quotes... :p

jbc has good insights based on long experience of and within the industry.

    Really?

Most of the posts seem to have no replies or just a couple at most from what I've seen. Compared to posts which start with a commentary/views of the member starting the thread I'd say that's pretty low.

I mostly read View from the Wing and Million Mile Secrets, I think because those are among the ones I found first, and they offer somewhat of a different perspective to each other.

I enjoy the diversity of inputs. The personal commentary based on a desire for constructive discussion and the news clippings make a pleasing mosaic of information.
