Longtime AA member here... trying to go from just casual points / miles collector to more serious hobby?

    So another noob question...

Should I be using a "one-stop" website for monitoring all my points balances? If so, which one?

Does the milpoint premium membership help with this?

    Thanks!!

Unfortunately AA doesnt allow 3rd party sites to track their AA miles ...

however I do use AwardWallet for my other things (Besides AA/DL/UA/Southwest)

I also use AwardWallet to track all of my miles and points for those like AA & DL who don't allow AwardWallet to track them, you can still set them up manually so that they are listed with the rest. You will just have to manually update the balance on your own. Also, you will have to name it something that isn't the exact title of the program such as "myAdvantage" or "MyDelta". Also you can't use the actual FF number either. But at least you can get it to be counted in the list with the rest.

I also have a spreadsheet I track things on as well!

That is a good idea, I have my AA number memorized but not Delta. I never thought to put it in the comments!!

  6. there is another work around, i can't recall the detail but you can give AW your airline member number and give your airline their email address and when the airline updates your point balance/send out an email, AW adjust in your for you, i've not done it but it can be done.

that works for UA ... but not for AA. you're not allowed to create anything that resembles AA.

This is what I do too and it works pretty well. As far as I know, due to some airline restrictions, there is no one program that will allow you to do this automatically.

I use Tripit Pro but as with the others it cannot track AA or DL or SW but will track the other airlines and all the hotel, car and credit card awards
