I have $50 in e-rewards that I need to cash in. Here are my choices (since it varies depending on where and when you signed up):

·The Wall Street Journal (152 issues)
    ·$50 off at FORZIERI.com
·$50 off at Neiman Marcus Last Call
    ·1 A+ Rewards credit
    ·500 Skywards Miles
    ·500 Virgin America Elevate Points
    ·1,000 AAdvantage® miles
·1,000 Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan® Miles
    ·1,000 EarlyReturns® Miles
    ·1,000 Etihad Guest Miles
    ·1,000 FlexPoints
    ·1,000 Flying Blue Miles
    ·1,000 HawaiianMiles
    ·1,000 Flying Club Miles
    ·1,000 FREE SPIRIT miles
    ·1,000 MileagePlus Miles
    ·1,000 Premier Miles
    ·1,000 Rapid Rewards Points
    ·1,000 TrueBlue points
    ·1,000 US Airways Dividend Miles
    ·1500 Avios

Right now, the only programs I have balances where this redemption would seemingly be worthwhile for would be:

    AA - 120k miles
UA - 62k miles (with 57k UR points earmarked to go here as well)
    US - 56k miles

I have a feeling that taking the AA award would give me orphan miles, although that's depending on whether I used AA miles or *A miles for Europe (my other major points trip being in 2015 to 3-4 stops in Asia). I really don't know what I'm going to do with the US miles (perhaps OW inter-asia legs?).

I'm curious about the 1,500 Avios though. I don't have any Avios at this point, but it seems like the best value, should I get into the Avios game eventually.

I redeemed my e-rewards money on December 31st for PCR points. They posted on January 1st and I renewed PL until the end of 2014. :D:D:D

Why not take the 1,000 UA miles? Then you'd only have to transfer 56k UR and you have more UR to spend elsewhere.

This was where I was leaning. I feel like adding it to AA miles might end up orphaned for a while if I only need 120k for 2 Europe RT tickets.

Certainly put the miles where they're the most useful, UA or US would be my bet, depending which you plan to use first.

Seeing as you have all the airline partners I'm guessing you got your invite from a hotel programme? If it was HH I'd go with the $100 for 7k HH... I've always felt it was the best value. If not I'd go UA as well, 1k won't do much to your AA balance.

No HH redemptions on this one. I'm pretty sure when I created this account it was for WN points. I do have one other e-rewards account that has HH as an option, but it's $125 for 7k HH points.

I was looking around e-rewards today and noticed that USAirways had an offer of 250 miles for $0.00 in redemption. Hopefully others have that same option!

Where do you see that? Only one of my accounts has an option for US redemption but 500 miles minimum for $25.

It was on that same screen, but above the $25 redemption. I did not get a screen cap of that, but below is a cut from my Redemption History showing the 250/0$. Maybe I was just lucky.

    Date Description Amount ID#
01/19/2013 250 US Airways Dividend Miles
    $0.00

[that looked much cleaner pasted into the message box, posted a little scrambled]

Wow, I guess I missed it. I actually have to accounts that have US as a redemption option but none showed that deal.

That may have been the sign-up bonus? I signed up to get 250 UA miles, and that's where they were.

Ah, that would explain it. I think in the past they just deposited points directly to your account for the sign up.

It threw me off this time around. I liked the past way better. 250 mile bonus, then 25-50 miles each survey, but nothing if you didn't qualify.
